7 Perfect Outfits to Wear THIS WEEK
My goal is to help you decide what to wear to feel pretty and on point heading into the Fall. Looking to fall when you are air-conditioned indoors but it is still 98 degrees outside is tricky. Let's find some flattering, versatile fits that help you end the decision fatigue. I just want to simplify my wardrobe. Here is the thing, if you love it and feel good when you put it on, the decision is easy. So let's get to it...
- Hints of Brown
Brown is the new color this season. It is a staple that will instantly update your look, and it is easy to wear, flattering on most, and pretty close to black if that is your comfort zone. Adding the brown detail to this nice floral updates this dress. The button-front A-line style is appropriate for work and looks good on everyone. Wear with boots, traditional or western, but this dress has hints of black that will go well with a black pump or flat sandal for more casual days.
2. Tie Front Styles
Tie Front is happening. Looks great on everyone: if you have a waist, it accentuates it; if you don't, it adds one for you. You'll be seeing this in dresses and tops this season, but it is also a classic piece that won't be out of style by next year. It is always good to look good. Notice our first two dresses have a modest short sleeve, so it offers a little coverage but is still cool.
3. Mock Neck
Mock Neck is the new normal in a good way. It is easy to accessorise and looks great on most people. Grab a mock neck top and pair with a neutral for a cool, updated, outfit. It is sleek and doesn't try too hard. This dress is great because it is all in one. Looks good with an easy flip-flop, but it could easily be dressed up with a black pump.
4. 3/4 Sleeves
3/4 Sleeves are back in and I was sad to see them go in the first place so I'm pretty happy about it. They stay out of your way, offer a little extra arm coverage and show off the most flattering part of your arm. Highlight with some jewelry and you are good to go. Love this particular dress because you can wear it through multiple seasons by changing your shoes and accessories. The tie waist also helps with accentuating or creating a waist. This is a great dress.
5. Bring Back Blouses
Sleeveless Blouses are ready to wear right now. They add instant depth to your closet and can be casual or dressed up. A slim or straight leg jean looks great with a top like this with the looser and comfortable fit and tie detail at the neck. I would pair with shorts and sneakers or dress up with slim slacks and those black heels.
6. Polka Dots
Polka Dots are a go for any age. They are fun and everywhere right now. I love how they are added to this short sleeve blouse and keep it neutral but with a little something extra. I really think my mood is made better by a few polka dots. This top is a flattering cut. It is comfortable and could be great with a black skirt or denim. It goes through the seasons and is appropriate for right now.
7. Cardigan AGAIN
Cardigans are having a comeback. They are oversized for any body type. Transitions well with short sleeves or layered over dresses. This is soft, cozy, and cool. Add a cardigan as a top or just draped over your shoulders for an instant classic look.
Hope this helps you get dressed this week. I can only help with the outside of you, but I pray that your inside is made beautiful too. Many Blessings!
For all the looks and more...
